Independence Day
Afreen Foundation celebrates India’s Independence Day on 15 th August with great patriotic fervor across our project locations in rural Maharashtra. The event includes flag hoisting ceremonies, cultural performances by students, speeches highlighting freedom fighters’ contributions, and competitions promoting national values. We distribute sweets and educational materials to children, fostering pride in our nation’s heritage. These celebrations instill patriotism, unity, and civic responsibility among community members while honoring our nation’s journey toward freedom.
Republic Day
Our Republic Day celebrations honor the Constitution of India and democratic values we cherish. The day features flag hoisting, marches, cultural programs showcasing India’s diversity, and speeches emphasizing constitutional rights and duties. Students participate enthusiastically in patriotic songs, dances, and skits. We organize essay and drawing competitions on themes of citizenship, equality, and justice. The event concludes with prize distribution and refreshments, reinforcing democratic principles and national pride among rural communities.
CSR Partnership Program
Afreen Foundation proudly conducts Corporate Social Responsibility programs in collaboration with Kohinoor International, Andheri, focusing on computer education and technology introduction for students from all backgrounds. Through this partnership, we provide state-of-the-art computer training, digital literacy workshops, and hands-on technology sessions. Students receive certificates and awards recognizing their achievements and newly acquired skills. This initiative bridges educational gaps, enhances employability, and empowers youth with essential 21st-century competencies.
